GAME Plan


GOAL
1.       By Week Seven, I will increase my proficiency of student reflection by promoting and providing students opportunities to reflect using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes.
2.      By Week Seven, I will increase my proficiency of customizing and personalizing learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources.
ACTION

  1. To promote student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes, I will incorporate multimedia tools:
a.       Online forums for students to provide peer feedback and editing opportunities.
b.      student blogs for journaling about their learning, thinking, planning, and creative processes
c.       Online graphic organizers that illustrate and organize thoughts, ideas, and knowledge content.
d.      Provide students the opportunity to take on the role as detectives in the problem solving process to gather information to confirm, modify, or refute a hypothesis.

  1. To customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources, I will incorporate multimedia tools to:
a.       Encourage students to select how they demonstrate their proficiency and knowledge.
b.      encourage students to utilize digital tools and web resources to demonstrate their learning
c.       Provide students examples that exploit various senses.
d.      Provide opportunities and support learners to practice skills and receive relevant feedback.
MONITOR

1.      To monitor the progress of  my goal on promoting student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes, I will ask:
a.       Are my students making adequate use of the opportunity?
b.      Are the tools and resources promoting students learning?
c.       Which students need additional support to effectively utilize the web tools?
d.      What additional training is needed to support students?

2.      To monitor my the progress of goal to customize and personalize learning activities to address students’ diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources, I will ask:

EVALUATION

  1. To evaluate  my goal on promoting student reflection using collaborative tools to reveal and clarify students’ conceptual understanding and thinking, planning, and creative processes, I will find the answer to:
    1. Did the students adequately use the opportunity?
    2. Did the tools and resources promote student learning?
    3. What changes need to take place in order to support students more effective?
    4. What classes or staff development courses are available to increase my skills and knowledge?
